Donate
Donations are the lifeblood of ninthfloor.org. They're not enforced, but every honest user with no serious economic problems should contribute to the project.
For a service similar to this, a commercial provider asks each user something around 5€/month. Part of that is for things you don't find here: service guarantees and technical support. Another part of that becomes the personal profit for the people running the shell provider. What remains are the real costs of the infrastructure. This fraction can be roughly estimated to be about 2€/month. You do the math.
