With your account at ninthfloor.org you'll gain access to a number of programs and services. Have specific requirements? Just ask!

Basic system environment

• A shell account on a stable, up-to-date Debian system;
• 640MiB of disk quota;
• Support for crontab and atd for executing periodical tasks;
• IPv4 and low latency IPv6 connectivity;
• Shells: sh, bash, csh, tcsh, ksh, zsh, mksh, IPython, fish;

Network services (all IPv6 ready!)

• A gigabit Internet connection with native IPv6 connectivity;
• SSH (secure shell) access, Mosh;
• Secure file transfer via SFTP and SCP (no FTP);
• An email account (username@ninthfloor.org) with advanced spam filtering and mail classification features;
• A fully featured webmail application, with MIME support, Sieve filtering, an address book, folder manipulation, message searching, spell checking and more;
• Server side mail classification via Sieve scripts (Managesieve available);
• Secure access to the mail servers (SMTP, IMAP, POP3, all via TLS);
• Web access to your HTML documents;
• A locally accessible Tor proxy (natively lacks IPv6 support);
• Mailing Lists.
